Benni grübelt, Benni zweifelt, Benni kifft, Benni tanzt. Laila wird von ihrer Mutter geschlagen. Schöller ist mit Laila zusammen. Schöller macht sich an Katja ran. Katja kennt Schöller viel zu gut, um sich von seinem Baggern irritieren zu lassen. Sascha schlägt keine Mädchen, außer Katja. Katja macht Ju-Jutsu. Katja ist unkaputtbar. Bleiben oder gehen? Melanie Waelde erzählt von einer Jugend im Übergang, nahe an den Körpern, nahe an den Figuren.

Benni is always brooding. Or wallowing in doubt. Or smoking weed. Or dancing. Laila has a mother who beats her. Schöller and Laila are a couple. Schöller keeps coming on to Katja, but Katja knows Schöller too well to let it catch her off guard. Sascha would never hit a girl. Except for Katja, that is. Katja does Ju-Jutsu. Katja is indestructible. To stay or to go? Melanie Waelde shows us youth in transition, close to the characters, close to the bodies.
